furniture-349706_640When you have a tiny kitchen, the last thing you want to do is compromise space for appliances and cookware. Use these options for ideas on how to maximize your space.

One way is to find some great cookware and you should check out this top 3 list of the best induction cookware sets 2016 | comparison guide.

Storage Options

Hang them high

If you are a handy DIY kind of person and you have permission to do so, you could install a pot rack overhead. Just ensure that it clears your head space. This eliminates the need for drawer space, counter space or wall space to be taken up for your cookware.

Linear rack

A linear rack is great because it keeps your essentials within easy reach and close to the stove without taking over the space.

You may also want to consider a chef knife set which is one of the best ways to save some space whilst having all the main kitchen knives that you need in one place, like this forschner knife set – the very same Swiss Army knife fellows!

Above-range shelf

Adding a shelf above the stove top is a great option for those who cook on a daily basis. Keep your most used items out, within easy reach.

Pantry cart

If you have the option of wheeling a small pantry cart into your tiny kitchen, it can act as a coffee station, prep station and a cookware storage center. Find one with wire baskets underneath, where you can store your cookware or hang them from underneath if room allows for it.

Cookware Options

It might be tempting to invest in a cheap set, but you will get so much more out a more expensive one. A great option for a small kitchen would be a set like the Magma Nesting set, ( a really, very, very good set btw!).

This set has removable handles, can be stored easily due to their “nesting order”, and can be used as mixing bowls as well as cookware.

Another great option for small kitchen cookware would be a small crock-pot. This is great for nights where you just want to set it and forget it.

In fact you should check out the first post I published, it has a great video!

Less dishes, no need to be in the kitchen hovering over it and it can be easily hidden from view if needed.
